Edition3 Poster~

a mark, a mission, new blood and more

ok so there are hopes that we can add a bassist and an extra drummer to the band. awesome man! ok..... maybe we should invite haizam to speak his peace here too. well, if he's gonna join us then, yeah join us. anyway... he has to know about the club we play in and such as well. i still think it's better than jamming over at the old $16 per hour junkyard. at least we have peace to play our music there. it's more of a chillout music making area. so, we gotta see if our boxcarracer dude is interested. if so, then it'll be awesome. then we can speak to mr flat about adding him and maybe my bro to the lineup.

then it'll be like....

faiz(tt's my bro anyway) - drums

my probable guess for the additional crew would be mr flat would want us to perform for december considering we're adding pple to his club. hey i got a feeling he's gonna throw that in or if we wanna save our own asses, we might wanna use that as a reason as well. cos if we were to add in new members just for playing in our own time then he might think we're taking him as a fool.... you know what... maybe we could make it for december. think abt it... we can play a mimimal 3 full songs as a beginner's line up. maybe throw in some of the originals wld add some flavour. thus, adding a mission to our practices all these while. if i could list the few songs that we could easily make proper would be...

1:: creep - radiohead
2:: grey sky morning - vertical horizon
3:: ordinary day - nuno bettencourt
4:: little wing - skid row
5:: secrets in my head (original)
.... plus 2 other original tunes wic we have to add lyrics to it.

there you have it 7 songs so far. haah. i know it's not much... but considering the size of the band and the amount of time we put into this... it's quite a feat. so i dunno about you guys. if we wanna try for december then, maybe we can shortlist maximum of 5 songs. and with an array of the new talents being put together to edition 3... maybe it would all work out well... you won't know man. it's worth a shot. even if we screw up... at least we had fun. there's always a first for everything... so yeah... i dunno why i'm into this but i just want a goal for me to work for. and one of it is my first addiction that leads to us forming edition 3... the power and love for music man. the fun and satisfaction that comes with it... is awesome.

so please give me your views, agreements, violent objections and thoughts on it... cheers!

a new addition to edition 3?

bros... i was just thinking. if it's possible, could we like add my younger bro to the team? yeah he's a drummer, pretty good. can still maintain him if he plays for us. but he's doin his O's this year and yeah it'll be pretty complete if we could add him after the major hurdle is over. just contemplating. but he's only well versed in drums, but he can pick up the guitar some other time maybe. what do you guys think?
